What is CPC and What does it stand for ?
=> CPC stands for Calling Party Category. It Identifies the call origin and enables you to benefit from a differentiated rate structure.
What are the benefits of getting CPC ?
=> CPC gives you the option to either accept or block an origin on a number by number basis.
Is the CPC usage free of charge ?
=> Yes. CPC is a free billing system provided by Voxbone in order to offer a variety of call origins for your toll free numbers.
Why do I get charged differently according to the origin of the calls ?
=> The originating networks charge Voxbone differently. Thus, we have to align our fees to accommodate their charges. This is also the reason why there is sometimes a connection fee in addition to the per minute fee.
Is CPC supported in all the countries offered by Voxbone ?
=> CPC is not yet supported in all the countries.

=> The rates can be found in the price list in your account: Price list > Vox800
Why is there a connection fee ?
=> In some countries, there is always a connection fee charged next to the per minute minute.
What is the defaults settings ?
=> By default, the system will allow calls from all origins: fixed lines, mobile and payphone.
Can I edit my defaults ?
=> Yes. You will be able to configure the defaults for newly purchased toll free numbers in your account: Configure-->Defaults.
Can I enable my settings on a number by number basis ?
=> Yes. CPC settings can be modified for each toll free number individually in your account : Configure-->Uris
Would CPC apply to my existing toll free numbers ?
=> The existing toll free numbers will keep their original settings by default. CPC defaults will only apply to new toll free numbers. However, you can still edit the original settings of your existing toll free numbers.
Can I refrain from using CPC ?
=> The default settings will keep the existing settings for your current toll free numbers and there is no need for you to change it if you don't want to.
Do I need to modify my equipment settings ?
=> No, you do not need to perform any change on your equipment. However, you may want to adjust your billing system for your end users.
Can I use CPC for the toll free numbers I already have in my account ?
=> Yes. Once CPC is enabled in the country where you already have toll free numbers, you will be able to choose the origins from which you wish to receive calls.
Can I also use CPC for my VoxDIDs ?
=> Voxbone does not charge any per minute fees for VoxDIDs. Thus, there is no need to block certain origins.
