In this blog, I wanted to go through some of the points we made and what we at Voxbone can do to help.

One of the most effective growth strategies for enterprise businesses remains global expansion, both to better support existing customers, and to bring in net new opportunities.

As an enterprise business, in order to scale your operation and expand your global reach, you’ll be looking for a full PSTN replacement and plenty of countrywide coverage for each market.

But you have a lot to consider if you choose to do this yourself. You’d need to take into account all the physical connections, designs, building, and maintenance of your connections for each area, region, or market.

In some markets, you are even required to have a physical presence.

We often speak to customers who have already developed large legal resources to try and solve these problems and for a few years, they’ve had to have five or six people in six or seven countries to help. Solving all this is a part of what makes using Voxbone a no-brainer.

Increase Expansion for an Improved Solution

A typical case for global expansion are organizations that, in their local country, have developed their app, widget, or product, and have somewhat conquered the market, so they want to expand. Or they’ve simply realized that the market that they’re currently sitting in hasn’t really got much room left for them.

Essentially, it boils down to needing global expansion to be able to deliver a better solution and increase profits.

Our customer stories hold some great examples of this, including Aircall and Zoom.

But as more global enterprises move into a global marketplace they’re realizing they can’t get the same communications experience everywhere that they operate. Why? Well, because it’s kind of a headache to do it yourself.

If you are considering scaling your business across the globe, you have a lot of technicalities to think about. 

You’ll need to manage things like finance, legal resources, technical infrastructure, contracts, invoices, interconnect, and number management. All across multiple currencies and purchase orders.

To add to that, there’s a different regulator for almost every market you wish to enter, each with its own priorities and specifications. Basically, if this is something you’re looking to do, you’re going to need local expertise.

A lack of compliance can lead to communications downtime and in some cases, hefty fines.

Adding coverage in Saudi is just another example of how our customer centricity drives what we do; Saudi is the largest economy in the Middle East and the 18th biggest in the world.
