The past year was an exciting one for Voxbone–and me. I joined early in 2017 and was fortunate to be part of a company-wide transformation, a rebrand undertaken to ensure that public perception of the company better reflected our SaaS nature. We enlisted the uber-talented Onwards (formerly Article) agency to breath new life into the Voxbone brand. Here are some images that Onwards shared with us that show what the process looked like:

Finding the balance between strange and simple
A new logo is born
Choices, choices

Now we’re no longer the best-kept secret in business communications, with a new logo, slogan, and a revamped website courtesy of Mighty Sharp that shows how we’re SaaS-minded AND sassy. And borderline obsessive when it comes to making things simpler for our customers. Or as we like to put it, 80% simple and 20% strange!

That’s why we decided to implement a free trial that has so far gained a lot of traction among growing businesses. And don’t forget our snazzy new web portal for buying phone numbers online or the imminent arrival of an overhauled developer site for the API-lovers out there. But more on that later.

Here are some other 2017 milestones that we were super proud of, as mentioned in a recent press release:

  • A new PoP in Australia
  • Voice coverage in Russia
  • The introduction business-facing tools including Speech Analytics

Perhaps most monumental of all, we introduced two-way calling, helping our customers lessen their dependencies on local carriers in every country in which they operate. Together with SMS, mobile and toll-free, we’ve got the recipe for an all-in-one communications infrastructure solution that no other provider can match. This is global comms redefined, free from the tyranny of PSTN lines.

You don’t often see the big carriers keeping things so fresh. Speed isn’t exactly their strong suit. Voxbone, on the other hand, is a tech company first and foremost. We’ve seen up to 30 million unique callers on our global SIP network in a single month, and we’ve been flying at supersonic speeds to optimize and automate our offerings to support companies scaling all over the world.

Here’s what you can expect from us as we set out to shake up business communications even more this year.

Staying strange in 2018

What’s so “strange” about us? Well, we’re not your typical telco. Voxbone is rocking the world of business communications, especially for scaling companies with global footprints. Our services offer the flexibility of the cloud with flat rates and powerful APIs. But don’t just take my word for it, check out what some of our customers are saying on G2 Crowd.

The wheels are in motion for more great things to come 2018. We already launched two-way mobile numbers in my home country of Israel earlier this month, giving companies direct access to the thriving marketplace of the Startup Nation, regardless of their location. Here’s some other news to get excited about around our business-facing services:

  • Lower latency in Asia Pacific – We’ve added a virtual point-of-presence in Asia Pacific for lower latency and greater redundancy when using Speech Analytics.
  • Mobile coverage – We’re adding mobile numbers in countries including Switzerland, Russia, Mexico, Italy, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Thailand, Philippines, and Pakistan
  • National outbound calling – This means in addition to international two-way calling, we’ll be rolling out national outbound calling in select countries throughout 2018
  • Web developer portal – A new coat of paint and a content refresh, plus the introduction of our Speech Analytics API to get the most out of your business communications.

If you’re looking to grow your business with the most cutting-edge telephony services, you’ve come to the right place. It’s time to build the ultimate communications infrastructure with phone numbers in the cloud that can reach more local markets than anyone else in the game.
