Mobile DID Numbers with 2-way SMS and voice support

Our Mobile DID numbers (VoxDID Mobile) enable mobile OTT, UC and cloud PBX providers to connect their cloud communication services to local mobile telephone networks. They are also perfectly suited to enable CRM, ERP and eCommerce applications with reliable one or two-way texting capabilities. With our mobile DID numbers, Voxbone offers inbound voice and SMS communications, collecting voice calls and SMS messages (texting) from the local mobile telephone network. Calls and SMS messages are then transported over our global IP backbone and delivered to the client’s service platform. 

Two-way texting

In all countries, our mobile numbers can be reached via text from all national mobile networks. For most countries, we can also offer broad international reachability.  Our VoxSMS service provides high quality national and international SMS termination. 

For national SMS termination, we use a direct interconnection with a tier-1 local network operator to ensure a near 100% delivery success rate. For sending and receiving text messages with offer two interconnection options:  SMPP – suitable for high volume SMS traffic - or HTTP/REST SMS API – ideal for application developers, no server infrastructure needed.

Voice support

In most countries, our mobile numbers support inbound voice in addition to SMS. Call capacity or VoxTRUNK channels are needed to enable voice on the numbers.  One channel equals one concurrent call, but as channels are not linked to countries or numbers, the advantage is that numbers from different countries can share the same call capacity you have with Voxbone. All calls are delivered to your network over a single SIP trunk.
